The Society of Auricular Acupuncturists was formed in the early 1970s in the Bristol area by Norman McDonald Clark, a highly regarded acupuncturist.
For 15 years he carried out auricular or ear acupuncture training courses until illness forced his retirement. Pauline Ronson became the Secretary of the Society in the mid 1980s and took over the role of tutor of new members.
She qualified in both classical and auricular (ear) acupuncture in 1981 and has been practising extensively in this fascinating complementary therapy for the last 26 years. She has gained an enormous amount of knowledge and experience over the years.
